The notices for today:

FAB Church live TODAY at 3.30pm
Join us for our ‘families and bears’ service livestreamed from our usual link (ststephensbd5.org.uk/live) at 3.30 this afternoon for a short service with songs, crafts, a talk, prayers, and of course our St Stephen’s bears! Aimed particularly at children and their parents/carers, but anyone welcome to join.

Cooking apples
Sarah and Jimmy have loads of apples growing in their garden! If you would like some, get in touch with Jimmy. If you can’t collect them, Tracey has offered to deliver – just let Jimmy know if you’d like this and he can arrange it for you.

A message from the Diocese: Sudan Emergency Relief Appeal
The Sudan Link working group want to thank all who so generously responded to the appeal; £70,000 was raised. It has not been possible to thank every donor personally, but we want you to know how much your gift has been appreciated and is making a difference to people’s lives. Thank you.

Prayer at 6pm every day
The Church of England are calling Christians across our country to pray every day at 6pm during this month of lockdown. You can access the prayer themes here:
https://www.churchofengland.org/resources/call-prayer-nation
You can either set aside the time to pray at home on your own or with your household, or join us on Zoom from 6-6.15pm everyday till 2nd December using the link or phone number below.

Our prayer for today:
Heavenly Lord,
you long for the world’s salvation:
stir us from apathy,
restrain us from excess
and revive in us new hope
that all creation will one day be healed
in Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen

Praying you all have a blessed, peaceful week – and hope to be able to pray with many of you at 6pm at some point during the week.
Hannah
